About the Journal

As implied in the name of ths journal, this journal essentially focuses on the study of religious manuscripts in Minangkabaw in particular and the Malay world in general. its publication is based primarily on the still limited number of journals that focus on this aspect, thus narrowing the space for dialogue on religious manuscripts. in fact, religious manuscripts found in Minangkabaw and the Malay world have a very rich variety of themes, covering various aspects of socio-religious life that occurred in the past. therefore, throughout its function as a recorder of human activities in the past, the themes of manuscripts that can be touched upon in this journal include histoy, literature, philosophy, law, religious sciences, politics and so on. it is hoped that with the participation of manuscript reviewers, this journal can become a future solution in channeling ideas around the issues in the various studies above.
