Kajian tentang Skriptorium Dan Katalogus Naskah Digital Pada Surau Simaung Sijunjung (Website Dreamsea)

Abstrak

This paper discusses the scriptorium and manuscript catalog of the surau simauang located in Sijunjung which in Philology focuses on the study of texts and manuscripts. As well as ways to preserve it. To preserve manuscripts, there is a scriptorium and manuscript catalogus, which is a scriptorium where manuscripts are copied, while the catalog is a tool for mapping and tracing manuscripts. One of the scriptorium and manuscript catalogs that has been digitized is the Surau Simaung sijunjung catalog, in which there are many ancient manuscripts with Malay Arabic script. The Skritorium of Surau Simaung has been digitized by the Dreamsea website. Dreamsea is a digital collection of manuscripts in Southeast Asia. The method used in this study is the historical method which consists of four stages, heuristics, source criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The results of this study indicate that the Simaung surau has a large collection of prayers and history.
